Hey Small Biters,
There’s something about a return.
This week, the U.S. Supreme Court did something quietly radical: it ordered the federal government to fix what it tried to call a technicality. Kilmar Abrego Garcia, a Maryland resident, father, and husband, was deported last month — mistakenly — despite being legally protected. He was thrown into a megaprison in El Salvador built for gang leaders and labeled a threat. No trial. No real explanation. Just gone.
The Court said no.
They didn’t just issue a slap on the wrist. They demanded the U.S. bring him back.
And suddenly, that word — return — carried a new weight.
It’s easy to lose people in systems.
A missing file. A wrong code.
A press release that says “national security” and erases the person behind the name.
What’s harder is getting a system to say: We were wrong. And now we have to undo it.
In ordering the administration to “facilitate” his return, the Court didn’t just offer a legal fix. They sent a message — that power doesn’t exempt you from responsibility. That rights don’t vanish just because someone decides they’re inconvenient. And that a government can’t deport first and ask questions later.
But there’s something more personal here, too.
Many of us have had moments — quieter, maybe — where we were erased in some way. Forgotten. Ignored. Brushed aside by a bigger system or story. Maybe this week, it's worth asking what it would look like to be returned to yourself.
To pause and reclaim something that bureaucracy tried to strip away.
Maybe that’s presence.
Maybe that’s voice.
Maybe that’s just a reminder that you’re still here — and still matter.
✍️
They called him gone, but paper lies.
The Court said no. The system tries. He waits to come from shadow back.
A nation flinches — and retracts.
Warm regards,
Small Bites

The only ‘fast’ is the propaganda and lies being spread by the WH, GOP, and maggots.
The tRump administration’s ICE system, is meant to be racist and cruel.
